Merrill Sport - President

Former Co-Founder, Director, and COO of Pursuit Channel, where he performed all the duties, executed all the producer & distribution documents, and raised the monies required to launch in May, 2008. His wife, Lisa, funded the original launch of Pursuit with a $200,000 commitment of her personal bank stock in July, 2007. Merrill then raised the next 2 million+ dollars among family and friends until a third party investor was secured. He has over 32 years of experience in the Outdoor Industry and 15 years experience as Executive Producer & Finance Director for Rusty Faulk Outdoors. Merrill worked in Management at Hicks, Inc., in Luverne, Alabama (Wholesale Distributor of Outdoor Products), as Buyer, Sales Manager, Designing Flyers and Catalogs, handling Key Accounts and Sales, and he established the first Hicks, Inc. Dealer Trade Show in 1992. During his 32 years in the Outdoor Industry, Merrill also worked with three major manufacturing Rep. Groups in the Southeast, beginning in March, 1983. (1) Bob May Co. (2) JPBD & Asso. (3) Dunkin-Lewis, Inc. Merrill knows the needs of the Producers and Advertisers in relation to Outdoor Television. He understands Household Impressions, Rates, and Profits.

William Simmons - Manager

For the past 35 years Will has been one of the South’s leading Scrap Metal Processors & Demolition Contractors. He currently resides in South Carolina and has multiple scrap yards in North and South Carolina; however, his passion for the hunt and the thrill of capturing it on some of the latest technologies today, has brought him to invest In the Hunt Channel. Will has taken some of the largest game in North America on film.

Jimmy Sites - Manager

Jimmy is currently serving as VP of Producer Relations for Hunt Channel and is in his 13th season of the award-winning program, Spiritual Outdoors Adventures w/Jimmy Sites. Jimmy also leads an intensive 5-day Producers Camp focusing on the main elements of producing an outdoor show and commercials. With Jimmy’s training and experience for camera work, hosting, and editing, his goal is to help elevate the content of All Shows seeking to excel in the Hunting Industry. This is a very valuable service for Producers and we think it is a great program!

Stewart Thomas, Executive Vice President

With 15 years experience in the IT industry, former Operations/IT Manager at Pursuit Channel, Stewart is now using his experience, skills and love for the outdoors at Hunt Channel. He has worked as wireless support specialist with Dell Customer Service, IT Supervisor at Hick, Inc. in Luverne, Al and LAN Administrator at Boyd Brothers Transportation in Clayton, Al. Stewart has exceptional skills in Networking, Website Applications, Editing, as well as Corporate Management! Stewart will manage all IT, Website, Trafficking, and Operations for Hunt Channel.

Mitch Florence - VP Producer Sales

Mitch is an avid outdoorsman with a Bachelors of Science in Commerce from the University of Alabama. He was last employed with Stephen James & Associates, a job recruiter service in Atlanta, GA. He has an extended list of salesmanship employment as well as many local and foreign service activities. He has traveled the globe from Georgia to Colorado as well as mission, medical, and educational trips from Haiti to Guatemala and Uganda helping people.

Lisa Sport - VP Accounting & Bookkeeping

Lisa is a graduate of Crenshaw Christian Academy, and a Troy University graduate with a BS in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing and Accounting. Lisa worked as Marketing Assistant for 2 years at Durr-Fillauer, a wholesale Medical Drug distributor. She taught business courses for 13 years at Crenshaw Christian Academy. After teaching, she worked in Bookkeeping and Accounts Payables for 2 years at Pursuit Channel. She also has 2 years of Proprietorship of Sports Fitness, Gym and Tanning. She is another valuable asset, and will handle all accounting for Hunt Channel.

Christy King - VP Advertising Sales

Christy is US. Army Veteran with a BS in Business Administration. Christy began working with outdoor industry businesses through marketing consultant services, social media campaign development, and strategic marketing campaign development in 2011. Christy specializes in assisting business owners in reaching their marketing and advertising goals.

T. Richard Peoples - Video Production & Technical Advisor

Former Co-Founder & Director of Pursuit Channel who was the Original IT Director and Engineer to get the Pursuit Channel launched. Richard entered the video production industry in 1994 after a career as Vice President of Engineering of RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. for 20 years. He then started a 3D animation and Video Production company in suburban Atlanta. His company provided content for TV shows, National Music Tours, Industrial and Corporate videos, Faith Based programming and other various video projects. He has edited many outdoor shows and produced commercials for its advertisers.

Tom Scott, SkyAngel President & COO

Tom is an avid and accomplished hunter and fisherman for over 40 years. He hunts with a Bow, Rifle, & Muzzleloader, but is most often seen with a Bow in hand. He has appeared in a number of Outdoor Programs and is a Pro Staff with SOA. He has taken Big Game in Alaska, Africa, and many States across the USA. Tom is a licensed Attorney in Ohio, Kentucky, Colorado, and New York and as Corp. Counsel in Florida. He is currently President of Sky Angel of Naples, FL. and is a veteran businessman for over 40 years experience in operations management & as a Gen. Counsel in a number of multi-billion dollar national and inter-national companies.

Brian Collins, SkyAngel EVP Programming & Distribution

A media industry veteran with over 17 years experience in sales, syndication, programming, business development, IPTV, satellite and cable. Brian has spent his career managing multi-million dollar accounts and has built strong business relationships spanning the entire industry. Currently managing the Hunt Channel block on Dish network, Brian is working to expand programming and distribution for Hunt and will oversee these area as VP of Distribution.

Jaqueline Gallup, SkyAngel SVP Programming

Jacque oversees all of the programming that airs on Sky Angel’s three national networks. Gallup has worked directly with over eighty channels who have partnered with Sky Angel. Some of these network partners include, NFL Network, FOX News, Bloomberg, Sportsman Channel, Hallmark Channel, MLB Network, HSN, PBS Sprout, and more. Gallup also oversees all creative services, including on air graphics, animation, user interface, and spot development. Gallup managed two national Barker Channels and Video on Demand library (VOD).

Ashley Larsen, SkyAngel VP Content Acquisition

Ashley is going on her 4th year at Sky Angel Networks as the Director of Programming Content. She works with the SA Programming team in acquisition and develops relationships with television and film distributors and producers for broadcasting on Sky Angel Networks. She also manages the contractual processes and assists with the traffic coordination of the content, including quality control of the performance on the 4 networks.

Tiffany Crider, SkyAngel Traffic / Special Events

Tiffany is currently the Angel Two Traffic Coordinator for Sky Angel, Dish Network channel number 266. She has over eight years of broadcasting / traffic experience. Tiffany has been working with the Hunt Channel team since July 2013. Tiffany schedules all programming / add insertion for broadcast. Tiffany also updates all network program listings for the program guide.
